Hotel Hallstatt consists of three buildings: Kainz house, Stocker house, and Seethaler house. The main building, Kainz house, has rooms and suites with market views and lake views. Stocker house rooms offer a French balcony and lake views. Seethaler house rooms include a balcony and lake views. Deluxe rooms feature wooden balconies or verandas. Family suites have flat-screen TVs with cable channels. Amenities provided include L'Occitane care products, mineral water, Nespresso coffee, and Ronnefeldt tea. WiFi is available throughout the hotel.
Dining at Seeauer
The hotel restaurant Seeauer features Austrian and regional cuisine. Breakfast includes Julius Meinl coffee, Ronnefeldt teas, and local baked goods. The lunch menu is available from April to October, 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. From November until March we are open for you from monday until friday from 5.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. (kitchen from 5.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.). On saturday and sunday we are open for you from 11.30 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. (kitchen from 12.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.). The terrace offers lake views. The restaurant seats 90 people, and the terrace seats 30.
Leisure Facilities
Hotel Hallstatt provides a sauna in the main house Kainz. Guests also have options for adventure tickets, including a skiing pass for Dachstein West or Dachstein Krippenstein, a snow-shoe ticket to the 5 Fingers viewing platform, or access to the Eurotherme spa in Bad Ischl or Bad Aussee.

special location kind assistance good meals
the location was special i saw the lake from my room it felt so close. the staff offered kind assistance with directions this was greatly appreciated. i dined at the restaurant finding the meals good.
the elevator was a little slow it caused some delays.

The room was spacious and super clean. I had a great view of the city from my window. The breakfast buffet included varied and delicious options each day.
My room was in another building. This building was a 5-minute walk from the main area. The walk was fine, BUT the building wasn't quite the same quality.

charming stay in a picturesque town
amazing location helpful staff convenient ferry local tips
The location was amazing. i could easily walk to all attractions.. i even enjoyed the ferry to the train station. my room was a standard double or twin room. the staff was helpful. They assisted me with directions and local tips.
the walk to parking was a bit long with luggage.

heated rack lake view
The ferry dock was so close, made arrivals easy! My room had a lovely view of the lake and mountains. The room had a modern bathroom with a rainfall shower. I also liked the heated towel rack. It kept my towels warm and dry.
The breakfast buffet had many options. I noticed the coffee machine sometimes had a long queue.

uncomfortable temperature cheap pillows
the location was acceptable and very close to the lake.
The room was uncomfortably warm, even with the windows open (it wasn't a particularly hot day either). the fans provided offered little relief. i found the bed too firm and the pillows cheap, detracting from a good night's sleep. the shower setup was also awkward. It was hard to use it without making a mess.
